E.E. Cruz is a subsidiary of Flatiron Construction and Turner Construction Company and operates under the management of Flatiron. All employees of Flatiron, its affiliates, and subsidiaries, are required to abide by the Code of Conduct and all other Flatiron policies, procedures, and practices, at all times, as a condition of and throughout their employment.
Everyone at E.E. Cruz, from top management to each employee, is accountable to behave ethically and in accordance with the Company’s Code of Conduct.
Code of Conduct for Business Partners
As part of the HOCHTIEF group of companies, E.E. Cruz as a subsidiary of Flatiron, its affiliates and subsidiaries, is committed to complying with the HOCHTIEF Code of Conduct for Business Partners. All employees should observe the laws and regulations of the countries they work in. They must demonstrate honesty and fairness in all aspects of their business activities. We expect from our business partners that they act responsibly towards their own companies, towards customers and suppliers, towards the environment and towards society, too.
Flatiron acknowledges that the ethical principles spelled out in the HOCHTIEF Code of Conduct are grounded in the basic principles of the UN Global Compact, the ILO conventions, the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child, as well as the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Companies.
This Code of Conduct constitutes minimum standards which Flatiron expects its customers, suppliers and other contractual parties (“Partners”) to comply with. This includes but is not limited to:
- Complying with applicable laws
- Avoiding conflicts of interest
- Actively and effectively fighting against every kind of corruption and bribery
- Prohibition of forced and child labor
- Respecting human dignity
- Fair working conditions
- Taking responsibility for health and security of the employees
- Environmental protection
